The Higher Education and Competitive Exam Cell (Vijigisha), Department of Information Technology, Pimpri Chinchwad College of Engineering (PCCOE), Pune organized a guidance session on “Career Pathways Through Government Examinations” on 25 August 2026. The session focused on creating awareness among students about various government competitive examinations and providing practical guidance for systematic and effective preparation. The resource person, Mr. Hrishikesh Dani, shared his personal experiences and practical insights from his competitive examination journey, including UPSC, SSC CGL and other examinations. The session covered different government examination pathways, career opportunities, preparation planning, time management, consistency and smart examination strategies. An interactive Q&A session was also conducted, enabling students to clarify their doubts regarding competitive examinations, preparation strategies and career options. The session motivated students to explore government examinations as a potential career pathway and emphasized the importance of early planning, disciplined preparation and consistent self-study.
