Features Of Higher Study Cell
- Intranet based GATE, GRE, CAT reference material, test series, online practice etc.
- MoU with the trainers in the area of GATE, CAT and GRE for in-campus students' training since 2013.
- MoU in pipeline for UPSC/MPSC civil service examination.
- Adequate references in the form of books, CD’s, for preparation of competitive entrance examination such as GATE, GRE, CAT, GMAT, TOEFL etc in central library and department library.
- Club culture to prepare for GATE, GRE, CAT etc.
- Necessary guidance and counselling by department coordinators and cell incharge to create an environment conductive for higher studies.
- Guest lectures, seminars of various career and counselling agencies for higher studies throughout year. The special talks, group discussion with our alumni to share their experiences and guidance.
- Processing the applications for higher studies through the higher studies cell for necessary records and follow-up.

Objective of the Session:
The main objective of the session was to guide students who are interested in pursuing higher education abroad, especially in the United States, by providing them with detailed information about the GRE exam, preparation strategies, resources, and application process.

Summary of the Session:
The session began with a brief introduction of the GRE (Graduate Record Examination), its importance, and the types of students who typically take the test. Total 35 studentsattended the session and participated in discussion with speaker. Mr. Yash provided a comprehensive overview of the GRE format, which includes:
- Analytical Writing
- Verbal Reasoning
- Quantitative Reasoning Unscored and Research Sections
Outcome of the Session:
Students gained a clearer understanding of the GRE examination structure and preparation strategies. Many expressed interests in starting their preparation and attending further workshops or coaching sessions. Feedback indicated that the session was informative, well-organized, and motivating.
